Andhra suspends 3 IPS officers for 'framing', arresting Mumbai actress

The Andhra Pradesh government has suspended three senior IPS officers for allegedly framing and harassing a Mumbai-based actress to force her to withdraw a sexual assault complaint. The officers are accused of significant misuse of power, leading to the wrongful arrest and detention of the actress and her parents for 42 days earlier this year.
