Is Israel using white phosphorus weapons in Gaza again?

Media reports allege that Israel is using white phosphorus incendiary weapons in its airstrikes on the densely populated Gaza Strip. Israel has increased airstrikes and cut off essential supplies to retaliate against Hamas militants. This is not the first time Israel has been accused of using white phosphorus; in 2008-2009, it admitted to using munitions containing the substance. While white phosphorus is not banned under international law, its use is supposed to be regulated.
